Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the cost of phone or internet service. This benefit provides eligible consumers with a monthly discount based on cost of services, tribal eligibility, and your services.
Households can qualify for the Lifeline Program if the household income is at or below 135% of theĀ Federal Poverty Guidelines, or if a member of the household meets one of the following criteria:

Oregon Lifeline is a federal and state government program that provides a discount on phone (up to $12.25) or high-speed internet (up to 16.25) service to qualifying households with low incomes. Households may qualify based on total income at or below 135% of Federal Poverty Guidelines or participation in certain government assistance programs such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or Medicaid. The Lifeline discount is limited to one per household, consisting of either phone (wireline or wireless) or high-speed internet service. TheĀ Lifeline discount is also non-transferable.

This program provides monthly assistance for qualifying landline customers for voice services or voice and broadband services. This program is not available for individuals that have internet only. A consumer can not subscribe to both the Lifeline and the Missouri Lifeline Disabled program.
